Nokia N9 Review, Specification and Price

Nokia N9 is most powerful smartphone which gives you a different experience among the smart phones. It is stylish, slim and look like a mini tablet. It is running under the platform of MeeGo open source Linux operating system. Which is supposed to be the future platform of Nokia smart phones to compete with Android.

Camera

It has 8MP camera with Carl Zeiss optic with wide 28mm lens and dual LED flash. We can record HD videos of 720p at 30fps with stereo sound. No need to carry point shoot digital camera if N9 is with you. It is capable of providing you 3264 x 2448 pixel images. N9 has Digital zoom of 4X for images and video.

Display

It has large 3.9″inch (99 mm) AMOLED display with a resolution of 854 × 480 pixel without any front facing buttons. So it is the first pure touch display smartphone. It has capable of displaying up to 16.7 million colors. The screen is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass which is scratch resistant. It has ambient light censer to adjust the brightness of the display.

Processor

Nokia N9 includes three processor units. 1GHz ARM Cortex A8 CPU which runs the operating system and applications, an Imagination Technologies PowerVR SGX 530 GPU supporting OpenGL ES 2.0 capable of processing up to 14 million polygons/sec and a 430 MHz TI TMS320C64x, a digital signal processor, which processing images, audio and data transmission. N9 has 1 GB of Mobile DDR RAM which gives more performance in Multitasking.

Storage

It available in two variants of 16 GB or 64 GB mass storage memory and 512 MB ROM. Additional storage is not supported.

Other Features

It has 3.5mm universal headset jack with personal surround sound Dolby Headphones and Dolby Digital plus features. The N9 will be the first smartphone from Nokia to support only Micro-SIM. The connectivity other option includes

Lithium ion 1450 mAh battery (BV-5JW 3.7V) provides 16 to 19 days standby time, 7h to 11h of talk time, 4.5h of video playback and up to 48h of music play back.
